Unplugged and using only the battery, the Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser runs approximately 2,000 hours on standby, approximately 30 hours on low without light, and approximately 6 hours on low with light.

When the battery is low, the indicator light turns red and flashes before the battery dies. When the Cartridge Diffuser is charging, the indicator light will slowly pulse.

It depends on the setting you choose:

Low: Great for rooms around 400-600 square feet.
Medium: Ideal for 500-750 square feet.
High: Best for larger spaces, 800-1,000 square feet.

Yes. There is only a faint sound when the fragrance mists.

Remove the shade and pull the Fragrance Cartridge straight out without twisting it.

Compatibility and usage

No. The Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser is only compatible with our uniquely designed Fragrance Cartridges (a nebulizer-and-oil combination). Each nebulizer is developed specifically for the oil it comes with. Using non-Scentsy oils or attempting to reuse a nebulizer with a different oil will result in a negative experience, will cause damage (including oil spitting, leaking and settling on surrounding surfaces), and will void the product warranty.

No. The Cartridge Diffuser is compatible only with Fragrance Cartridges. Using any other oils — including Scentsy Oils — will void the warranty.

Fragrance Cartridges and fragrance performance

Fragrance Cartridges will be available on your Workstation and PWS and through Scentsy Club subscriptions by the end of 2025. To encourage repeat purchases through a Scentsy Club subscription, Fragrance Cartridges will be available at a discounted price in Scentsy Club compared to the full retail price on your PWS and Workstation. Fragrance Cartridges can even be added to a Club subscription as a qualifying half-price product. No other Club discounts will apply.

The two fragrance products are physically very different. Fragrance Cartridges will have distinct labeling, and the product page images on your PWS and scentsy.com will show the nebulizer.

No, not at this time. Natural and essential oils have different compositions that require a different Fragrance Cartridge system, and we’re still perfecting that technology.

A Fragrance Cartridge for a Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser – Solo can last up to a month or more, depending on use. Actual duration depends on:

Individual fragrance.
Duration of sessions.
Frequency of use.
Setting (low, medium or high).

Yes, some oils diffuse more quickly.

Nebulizers use larger particles to diffuse fragrance, often resulting in stronger scent throw than other fragrance products. The gravity-fed diffusion paired with ultrasonic technology create a dynamic fragrance experience.

The Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser is designed to perform safely when used as directed. As with all fragrance products, keep the Cartridge Diffuser out of reach of pets. If you have specific concerns about your pet’s health or sensitivities, we recommend consulting your veterinarian.

Cleaning and maintenance

Wipe the exterior of the Cartridge Diffuser ceramic shade with a damp cloth.

Cartridges should not require regular cleaning. If a clog develops, use a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and gently wipe the front disc to remove any oil buildup.
